Bulldog is the oldest dog in the world. He is from England, therefore often called Home Bulldog.

Bulldog of yore kept as a dog fighter who competed with a bull. Why bulldog selected? because it is aggressive and tough. Over time this type of dog raised and bred into a dog that is friendly to humans especially children so that would make a great house dog is loyal and good.

Bulldog is used as a symbol of courage and toughness in the military and the national pride of the British dog.
